Avalon Peninsula

From the November-December 2010 issue of National Geographic Traveler,
National Geographic voted the Avalon Peninsula the number one Coastal Destination. A panel of 340 experts in sustainable tourism and destination stewardship rates this geographically and culturally representative sample of the world’s waterside locales. I know of lot of people who would agree.

If I had to pick the storybook Newfoundland community I would pick Brigus. I just love its little canals and tiny narrow streets!

Yeah the Avalon Peninsula is a great place.
