Sister Golden Hair Surprise

Personal photography projects are so important for a photographer. Not only are you doing it just for fun, for the love of it, there are always pleasant surprises along the way.

Take for example "Sister Golden Hair Surprise". I was downtown St John's Newfoundland yesterday afternoon hoping to add to my street portraiture portfolio when I asked this young woman if I might take her portrait! Her reaction was just great, she was so excited she lit up like a christmas tree. Sometimes adding a little sunshine to someones life is a wonderful feeling and her portrait is a bonus! :-)
