Broken Earth

I was very pleased to be the photographer at the Great Rock Op 2014 fundraiser in support of Broken Earth at the Johnson Geo Centre in St John's Newfoundland, May 31 2014.

"Team Broken Earth is a volunteer task force composed of physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists from across Canada committed to delivering and improving healthcare in Haiti." - Broken Earth website. You can find out more on their website  , their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter

Entertainment was provided by The Once, Billy Hickey and 709. Food, by some of the worlds best chefs including: Raymond's, Mallard Cottage, Blue on Water, Tavola, Bianca's, Red Oak Catering and more!

Bloomsday in St John's Photography Workshop

The date is Saturday August 16 2014 from 9 am to 4 pm.  If the weather doesn't cooperate alternative dates include Sunday August 17 or Saturday August 23. Location Signal Hill in St John's Newfoundland.

Please note this is my only photography workshop scheduled for 2014.

The cost is $199 + tax, only 6 seats available!

We will go over the following:
  • Exposure (including histograms). Learn how to perfectly expose a scene!
  • Composition
  • Lighting
  • Dept of field
  • Polarizer filters
  • Graduated Neutral Density filters.
The itinerary (tentative):
  • 9 am to 12 noon photo session
  • 12 noon to 1 pm lunch
  • 1 pm to 4 pm photo session
Location to be finalized, it will be in the Signal Hill area.



Payment is necessary to finalize registration for this workshop!



Refunds available if cancelled up to two weeks before (August 2, 2014). Book soon only 6 seats available.

Just about any camera will do however I do recommend a DSLR. A tripod is recommended too!
