I really enjoy taking family photos and this past week I got to photograph the Cook family once again when they returned home to Newfoundland from the United States. It's great that a lot of people are coming home for #ComeHome2022 and I'm looking forward to doing more of this.
We went to Middle Cove Beach for an hour and did some of what you might consider traditional family photos and we also got a few walking along the beach and even throwing some rocks into the ocean. I was going to say stones but they're rocks in Newfoundland!
If your looking to have some family photos taken I
would suggest going online and doing a search. You can find some great
ideas, especially on Pinterest. And I got some ideas too. I like to look at
photographing people as a collaborative effort and by working together
the real character of the family can come out. A few minutes into the
session people usually settle in a bit and begin to enjoy themselves.
