Industrial Photography

When I worked part time as a professional photographer I also had the good fortune of spending 32 years working with the Canadian Coast Guard. Of course that means spending considerable time in industrial settings, with heavy equipment moving about lots of work on the go. Being familiar with that environment is important for your safety.

As a professional photographer I also get to work in that environment and feel comfortable and prepared doing so. Always sure to wear the right PPE and have my wits about me at all times. It's also a place where I get to see many of the amazing engineering achievements developed by some amazing people over the years. The technology is amazing!

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Over the last 10 years my work has evolved into doing mostly event, commercial and headshot and portrait photography.However covid had wiped out my event photography work over the last few years and I hope that's behind us and we can get back to normal. This event is a new start for me.

Big Brothers Big Sisters contacted me to cover some of the #MegaBike fund raising in St John's Newfoundland and I was delighted. One reason I like doing this kind of work is because I meet really great people. Successful, hardworking people who really enjoy life and as a result really add to the quality of life in our communities.
